Steps
- Look up from the screen.
- Name five things you can see. Say them out loud if you can, or in your head.
- Name four things you can feel. Your clothes, the seat, the air, your hands.
- Name three things you can hear.
- Name two things you can smell. If you can't smell anything, name two smells you like.
- Name one thing you can taste, or take a sip of water.
- Let one long breath out. You're here.
This is a sample, written to show how the site works. It will be replaced by practices recorded for this site.
If it gets hard
- You can do just the first step. Five things you can see is enough.
- Speaking the words out loud makes it easier to stay with it.
